University description

Utrecht School of the Arts (HKU) is a fully accredited University of Applied Sciences. It offers a range of English taught bachelor and master degree programs in the field of Fine Arts, Art Management, Design, Media, Music, Theatre and Game Design. Utrecht School of the Arts is one of the leading art schools in Europe. The quality of the school is reflected in the number of international awards won by HKU's students, alumni and teachers.

Utrecht School of the Arts is internationally inspired and involved in numerous international programs and projects. The HKU maintains close ties with almost 200 universities abroad for the purpose of exchanging lecturers, students and projects. Almost 20% of HKU’s student body is of non-Dutch origin. International students can attend HKU as a regular student, an exchange student in programs such as Socrates/Erasmus, a bilateral exchange program or as an MA, MPhil or PhD student.
