University description
The University of Groningen, founded in 1614, has claimed its spot among the prominent research universities in Europe. It enjoys great international esteem because of its wide variety of high quality English taught bachelor, master and PhD degree programs. The University of Groningen is located in the North of the Netherlands in the student friendly, mediaeval and picturesque city of Groningen.
Groningen offers over sixty bachelor programs and more than 100 master and research master programmes in practically any academic field.
