Program description

Grasp molecular and cellular principles. Learn to test hypotheses by doing wellcontrolled experiments, and go on to a career in basic or clinical research.

Conduct biomedical research projects, record your findings, check the relevance of results to clinical practices, and translate clinical questions into recommendations for inquiry. Work with acclaimed research groups, do extensive research, and write up a thesis. Erasmus University is a highly regarded university in a dynamic city with a world port. The School of Molecular Medicine has a stellar reputation, and the faculty includes leading international scientists in biomedical research. Focus on translational research, in cooperation with other leading institutions, and go on to a PhD in basic research or to a career in as a researcher in the life sciences, working, e.g., on your own translational projects, either at Erasmus MC or another institution.
