Program description

Deep understanding of marketing theory is needed to be successful in today's competitive market. The MSC programme Marketing focuses on (strategic) marketing management as well as marketing research.

More and more companies realize that success depends on their ability to offer a unique value to the customer. However, it's impossible to make these ambitions come true without reliable information on customers, rival companies and other market players. With this kind of information as the basis for developing and introducing products and services they can build up and bolster the company's competitive position. The discipline of marketing – especially strategic marketing – concentrates on this process and hence plays a key role in all sorts of companies. The MSc programme in Marketing combines in-depth academic study with practical application, focusing particularly on strategic marketing. You are taught to analyse, apply and rework the latest marketing knowledge. In a single year you will explore the field of marketing in considerable depth: theory and practice, knowledge and skills, teamwork and independent study. Specialization is possible in different areas, both within consumer marketing and business marketing.
