Program description

The Master's programme in International Business Law focuses on rules and practices that are relevant for international business transactions.

The Master's programme in International Business Law is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in the field of international business and trade. The programme focuses on the legal aspects of commercial transactions, such as drafting contracts, insurance, financing, bank guarantees, insolvency issues and investments. Students are taught that the practice of international business law must be set against the background of regulations created by national and international lawmakers. Regulating trade and investments is essential to help counter the potential detrimental effects of globalization. In addition, you will develop skills to anticipate, analyze and address legal problems that may arise in the practice of international business. The Master's programme International Business Law offers two specializations: International Business Regulation (IBR) focuses on the context in which international business transactions take place. International Commercial and Trade Law (ICTL) focuses on the legal interaction between companies.
