International Business and Management Studies at Webster University prepares you a managerial position at an international organization.
Specific language training and courses in management, accounting, economics and marketing are key elements. After the completion of the training you can explore the international market and gear manufacturer, product and buyer to each other. You also deploy activities in the area of promotion, advertising, sales policy and distribution. You are familiar with the latest social and political developments at the most important (Dutch) commercial partners.
The IBMS program is based on a combination of elements in the fields of marketing and sales, finance, and management and focuses on the complexities of international trade and the entrepreneurial environment. When you finish this program you will receive both an American BA Management or BS Business Administration degree as well as a Dutch HBO Bachelor degree International Business & Management.
Students choosing the IBMS program at Webster University Leiden follow a set route through their program, starting with the first general year. This first year addresses general management skills (such as team building and cross-cultural skills), communication and presentation skills, study and research skills, and composition. This academic foundation year also covers many of the so-called "General Education" courses that are an essential aspect of an American liberal arts college education.
