Program description

International Business and Languages (IBL) is a broad study programme offered in English, covering all aspects of marketing and of course languages.

The profile of the IBL student is based on competencies which were defined after intensive consultation with the business world and society taking into account the knowledge, skills and attitude needed by professionals in the field of marketing. A graduate of IBL can find positions in, for example, international trade, international communication management or export management. International focus An IBL graduate is flexible and ready to travel extensively in positions entailing frequent international contact. In many cases your home base will be outside the Netherlands. The IBL programme perfectly caters for this aspect by offering students the opportunity to participate in foreign exchange programmes and placements abroad. Languages Languages form an important part of the IBL curriculum. Besides English, the student must also choose two foreign languages (Spanish, French or German), which will be studied for the complete duration of the programme. As the study programme progresses, a student is expected to exert increasing control over his own study process through elective modules, study abroad, placement abroad, practical projects and the final thesis.
