The aim of the International Education Fair Tashkent, Uzbekistan is to present the advantages and opportunities of studying abroad. Students from the greater Tashkent area may look forward to meeting universities, colleges and schools from the EU and Asia.
For international institutions this is a unique opportunity to meet and interact with potential students on face-to-face basis, give a clear image about students' requirements, their potential and interests.
Each year around 33,000 students from Uzbekistan decide to study abroad. Russia is the main study destination.

The economy of Uzbekistan is growing at a fast rate. As a result, the need for higher education is increasing. Studying abroad is becoming a very important channel for personal development. At this point there are 65 higher education institutions in the country of Uzbekistan. Between 2002 and 2012, the overall number of students studying in universities increased by more than 160%. The total number of students in 2014 was 289,700 (including 276,500 Bachelor and 13,200 Master students).
