The International Education Fair in Riga is the largest specialised education abroad recruitment event in Latvia. This education fair features unique educational institutions that represent the wide range of educational and professional programs: general, intensive and special language courses, basic and secondary education, further education and professional training, diploma programmes, BA/BSc, Masters/MBA, postgraduate and others.
Previous editions of the Days of International Education roadshow thru the Baltics attracted more than 12,000 highly motivated students and their parents as well as educational agents from Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and Poland attended the event.Visitors from various target groups including schoolchildren and their parents, young people and students, adults and business people, representatives of private and state companies and organisations, mass media. Each year the fairs receive 2,500 – 5,500 visitors in each country. In previous years, Latvian students came to this event in great numbers in order to speak to a wide variety of top-class universities and business schools from Europe.
Besides talking to university and business school representatives, students can attend a great number of specialized workshops on topics such as: preparing for your studies abroad, language test sessions and carreer planning.
The Days of International Education in Riga attracts a unique mix of visitors from different target groups, including high school students (their parents), university students, adults and business people, representatives of private and state companies and organizations, mass media. Exhibition stand
The exposition area of each participant consists of a table and four chairs (2 from each side) and one table behind for placing materials and roll-up banners. Each workplace is equipped with free Wi-Fi internet and electricity access. Size of 1 workplace is 123 x 100 cm.
Airport transfers
The fair’s organizer does not provide airport – hotel - airport transfers. On arrival a taxi can be easily taken outside the airport arrival hall. On departure you can book a taxi at the hotel’s reception or take a taxi standing outside the hotels. All three hotels are located approximately 20-30 minutes drive from the airports (depends on traffic intensity and weather conditions).One way transfer fee is apprx. 20-25 euro and the taxi drivers can issue a receipt.
Promotion for the event
The Riga Education Fair is being promoted by means of the following online and offline marketing activities throughout the Baltic States:
• Advertising in the mass media (leading newspapers, news portals, students’ and youth portals.
• TV News promotion • Targeted campaigns in secondary schools, universities, language schools and other educational institutions,
• Distribution of promotional materials: posters, leaflets; invitations distributed through youth organizations and libraries,
• Newsletters and posters destributed to high schools, universities and other educational institutions,
• Media promotion in cooperation with national television and radio,
• Advertising campaign in leading newspapers, magazines and university publications,
• Billboards and posters , leaflets distributed in various Baltic Countries,
• Presentations in youth monthly magazines, several specialized guides and catalogues,
• Various other PR activities.
