NHTV Breda - Netherlands
We are very pleased to come to Germany because the German students seem to be well motivated and are very interested in our programmes. They seem to really be focused on finding the right university that suits them – in our case management related courses in the fields of Tourism, Leisure, Logistics, Facility etc. Also our presentation was fully booked and many visitors showed up at the booth afterwards to ask questions. The organization of the event was very good, we were well taken care of.”

Things to do in Stuttgart
Stuttgart is the capital and largest city of the state of Baden-Württemberg. Lying in the beautiful southwest region of Germany, enclosed by orchards and forest-covered hills the city will enchant you with its good wine, local and international cuisine, variety of cultural entertainment, expansive green areas and last but not least exquisite jewels of the automobile industry.
The Palace Square
The vast Schlossplatz is very much the focal point of the city. At its centre you will see the Jubilee Column, erected in 1841 to commemorate King William I's 25 years of rule. In terms of grandeur and magnificence the Neues Schloss or the New Castle truly stands out and dominates the space. Its late Baroque style provides a contrast with the medieval Altes Schloss or the Old Castle, built in the 10th century for the protection of the stud garden (which gave Stuttgart its name). Every year Schlossplatz is home to major outdoor events such as open-air concerts, children's fairs and parts of the Christmas market including an outdoor ice rink. The massive square hosts festivals throughout the year and is also home to a variety of street performers.
One of Germany's longest and finest shopping thoroughfares, here you can find it all. The 1.1km long street is packed with shops, bars, theatres and restaurants making it easy to spend a full day in the area. From mainstream stores to independent traders, there is something for every taste.
Wilhelma is the only zoological botanical garden in Europe. Here you can appreciate the outstanding examples of Moorish architecture and will discover more than 10,000 animals, exotic plants, and garden art exhibits as well as many beautiful hiding places to relax. It is the perfect place for a visit with the family. 3 in 1 Stuttgart's premier cultural center, the Staatstheater is actually a three-branch-theatre complex and represents the largest theatre of its kind in Europe. It forms part of the Stuttgart Opera, the Stuttgart Ballett and the Stuttgart Drama Theatre. Be sure to plan a visit to this multi-cultural place and enjoy a beautiful ballet or theater production.

You will experience a unique journey through automotive history covering a floor space of 16,500 square metres in a state-of-the-art building. The nearby Untertürkheim diesel engine factory is also open for tours, and the Porsche Museum, with its exquisite collection of more than 300 restored vehicles, is also worth the visit. Get inspired by Porsche’s history and by the collection of more than 80 vehicles spread on 5,600 square metre exhibition area.
